Traps
Traps
Summary:
Traps can either be a complete waste of money, or cheap miracles that change the tides of a battle in your favor. Read the 'Placement' section below and view our 'Base Designs' page to view how incredible the use of traps can be.
Placement:
There is nothing much more satisfying in Clash of Clans as i watch a hoard of Giants, supported by a healer, destroy my Air Defense; to only be seconds later sprung off the map and out of my village, leaving my defenses to have a field day crushing the remnants of my opponents puny forces. This is just one example of how cheap traps can change the tides of a battle. Some traps at higher levels are virtually useless such as the Bomb which only really works if you cluster all 6 together out the front of a priority (Town Hall, Storage), and even the Air Bomb loses its touch doing virtually no damage to a dragon or healer and occasionally destroying a few minions. However at lower levels these traps can be vital in protecting your base. Spring Traps, Giant Bombs, and Seeking Air Mines however never go out of touch and with correct placement (i.e. NOT having the Giant Bomb explode two goblins), the traps can be devastating at all levels. Please check out our 'Base Designs' page to learn how to use traps to their full potential.
Bomb:
Nothing says 'STAY OUT' quite like a good old-fashioned bomb.
Spring Trap:
This bouncy little number will toss unwanted visitors right off your property!
Air Bomb:
Latest invention in the field of flying pest control. This trap can blast multiple air units in a small area.
Giant Bomb:
When you're looking for a Big Boom, you need the Giant Bomb.
Seeking Air Mine:
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Well it makes no difference as the Seeking Air Mine will blow it sky high. This trap does devastating damage to a single air unit.
