Elixir Collector
Summary:
Elixir is pumped from Ley Lines underneath your village. Upgrade your Elixir Collectors to maximize elixir production.
Placement:
Elixir Collectors are most commonly placed outside the walls or inside the most outer layers of walls. It is a good idea to leave them in these places and not bring them into the center of your base as the production rate of elixir collectors is slow relative to their capacity. This means that even if invaded invaders will get only a small portion of the elixir within the collectors as long as you have collected the elixir recently. We would only ever recommend moving the collectors to the center if you were going to be inactive for a few days allowing the capacity of the elixir to increase, in which case a lot of elixir can be stored.
